Penny Walker 12 inch hard plastic doll from 1950s

Introducing, Penny Walker, a 12 inch hard plastic walker  from the 50s.  This particular doll was missing part of her foot, so I rebuilt it and repainted her. I repaired her eyes, that were misaligned, gave her a beautiful new wig and restrung her. She's wearing a new vintage styled dress and petticoat sewn just for her and I added a vintage sweater and new shoes and socks.
This doll belongs to my sister who had her as a child and is my first restoration.  I loved doing her so much, that I have begun restoring other hard plastic and composition dolls to give them a second life!

Penny Walker was manufactured by Togs 'N Dolls in the early 50s, then all of these dolls were sold to Arranbee (R & B) who redressed them and sold them as Little Angel dolls, the big sister to their popular 10 inch Littlest Angel.  The 12 inch dolls are a rare find.  They are very well designed with a sturdy toddler body; when she walks her head turns from side to side.  I really love them!
